Idaho Digital E-Book Alliance (IDEA) is a state-wide partnership between the Idaho Commission for Libraries (ICfL), public libraries, and school libraries with the goal of expanding access while reducing barriers to digital e-books and e-audio content via Libby. This collection of e-books and e-audiobooks was primarily created for school-age kids and young adults in grades K thru 12.
To access IDEA in our digital library through our website:
- Click Libby eBooks, eAudiobooks, & Digital Magazines
- Click the Sign In button in the top right corner
- Under Select your library, select Mountain Home Public Library
- Enter your library card number and pin
- Scroll all the way to the bottom and click IDEA by ICfL next to the yellow dot
- Start checking out books
To access IDEA in the Libby app:
- Open the Libby app and click the bottom center circle menu button
- Under Your Libraries click Add A Library
- In the search bar type IDEA and select IDEA by ICfL
- Click I’m visiting From Another Library
- Select LYNX Library Consortium and Mountain Home Public Library
- Enter your Library card number
- Start checking out books
To access IDEA in Overdrive on Kindle:
- Open Overdrive and click the 3 line menu button in the top left corner
- Select Manage Libraries and click the + sign in the top right corner
- Type IDEA by ICfL into the search bar and select Idaho Commission for Libraries
- Select IDEA by ICfL
- Start checking out books
*Please note that this is a separate library collection. The IDEA by ICfL collection was put together for school-age kids and young adults. For materials that are aimed more at adults, you will need to switch back to the LYNX Library Consortium (our digital library) in the menu under Your Libraries or Manage Your Libraries.
