Donations

There are many ways of helping

Mountain Home Public Library through donations.

Financial Donations

  1. A donation made directly to Mountain Home Public Library (790 North 10th East, Mountain Home, ID 83647) assists with the cost of general operations of the library.  Donations are accepted at any public service desk.

  2. A donation made to the Friends of the Mountain Home Public Library (drop off at the Book Nook or mail to Friends of the Mountain Home Public Library, 790 North 10th East, Mountain Home, ID  83647) is used to purchase books for the library.

Material Donations

Cleaning the house (or the garage)? Bought the latest bestseller but don’t need it now that you’ve read it? Upgrading your movies to Blu-Ray and don’t need your DVDs anymore? The library is always delighted to accept donations. If you have some books, movies, or CDs in good condition and you’d like to donate them, donations can be brought to the library, or you may call the numbers listed on the Friends Brochure for book pick up. Donations are tax deductible. Receipts are available at the Front Desk in the Library. Questions can be directed toward a library staff member.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept donations of VHS, cassette tapes, encyclopedias or magazines that are more than two years old at this time.

This library is a member of the Lynx Library Consortium.

The Lynx Library Consortium is a partnership between twelve city and district libraries in southern Idaho to share an online catalog, services, and variety of materials members may borrow, reducing costs and barriers to access for all.

This website and program are brought to you by the Idaho Commission for Libraries and made possible, in part, by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
